This is a free class to Law Enforcement with a $10.00 class fee payable by credit card, cash, or check, to LEAT for class supplies.

This class is taught by Major Clay Gibbs with the Tuscaloosa Police Department

First Line Supervision is an informative three-day (24-hour) class that addresses such topics as:  The Supervisory Process, Communication Issues in Supervision, Ethics, Liability Concerns, Conflict Resolution, Discipline, Generational Issues in Supervision, and other relevant topics.  The course entails instructor-led presentations, student self-assessments, case studies with homework, student presentations and strongly encourages classroom participation in discussions and activities.  The class is appropriate for any first line supervisor within law enforcement including newly promoted supervisors or seasoned supervisors who have not attended a formalized course
