This 16-hour tuition-free Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training course offers a different approach to combat the problem areas in your community and encourages officers to “think outside the box.” The methods taught have been proven effective, resulting in extremely successful investigations. This course is designed for law enforcement officers and will be especially beneficial for proactive aggressive patrol officers, narcotic agents, and detectives conducting proactive policing. Attendees will leave this course with the ability to write search warrants, conduct successful consensual encounters, deal with problem areas in their venue, develop / gather intelligence while conducting patrol, and successfully conduct video interviews/interrogations.

Instructor Joe Beliveau began his law enforcement career in June of 1990 with one of the largest law enforcement agencies in Illinois where he worked for 9 years as a patrol officer and drug interdiction officer in the St. Louis Metro East Area. In 1999, he was assigned to investigations where he has spent the last 16 years. Joe has held positions as an agent, supervisor, and director of a 20-person undercover narcotics unit, supervisor of a Meth Response Team, supervisor of a gun unit, and a supervisor of a multi-agency proactive street crimes unit in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. Joe has been involved in thousands of undercover operations involving narcotics, firearms, car thefts, murder for hires, etc. He is also recognized as an expert by Illinois Courts as well as Federal Court of the Southern District of Illinois.
